What teacher had the biggest influence on you as a student & why:

My 6th grade Science/Math teacher at Howell Middle School North. He pushed me to be better academically and personally. He cared and believed in me and was not afraid to set me straight if I was stepping out of line. Also, in 12th grade, Mr. Coulson in Howell High School. He was there for me in a time of need.

Proudest moment on the job:

Thinking of the personal progress a student has made from September to November = Happiness.

Fondest memory on the job:

My groups! I love running groups. They are always so refreshing for the students and for me!

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by J K Rowling

Favorite color: Sky Blue

Favorite meal: French Fries 

Hidden talent: My basketball skills :)

Favorite musician: Miranda Lambert 

Hobbies: I love working out; doing interval training such as crossfit! I am a basketball lover…always watching or attending a game.

Favorite teams: Princeton men’s basketball, Green Bay Packers

Favorite TV show: “This Is Us”

Three for Dinner: My fiance’s dad, my Pop-Pop and my Opa...I miss them! 

What inspires you?: My students, my fiance, my mom, dad and brother!

How do you make connections with students?: This is my favorite part of the job! I love asking questions and getting to know my students. I listen and take an interest in what is important to them.

If you could pass on your wisdom: There is always something else going on with a student; give them the benefit of the doubt and get to know them, I promise you will not be disappointed. 

What makes a good day at school?: Making connections with students and being able to help them in some capacity.
