Fondest memory on the job: There are so many great memories, it is so hard to choose. One year, my students made a Kindness Book and entered it into a contest. We won and we were recognized at a Board Meeting. Another year, we adopted an elephant and, the following year, a koala. My students once made it into the semi-finals of a kickball tournament and had team shirts made to wear for the game!
What is your hidden talent: If people meet me, they may not know that I am fluent in Polish!
What inspires you: My students inspire me every day. :)
How do you make connections with students?: I love talking to students about what they do outside of school. I love getting to know their passions, interests, hobbies, etc. I also love going to any sports games, dance recitals, and anything else they invite me to!
If you could pass on your wisdom regarding your job, what would you share: Smile and do your best every day!
Is there a quote or saying that you live your life by: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." - Jennifer Dukes Lee.
